Your tasks start on your device.

Nudges Work is designed so the core loop works locally. This notice describes what stays on your device, what is sent when you choose an account, and the limits of the launch product.

Local-first by default

Tasks, estimates, focus state, recovery context, and interface preferences are written to the browser's local storage (IndexedDB) first. You can use the free tier without an account. We do not send task titles, notes, or focus content to an analytics service.

When you choose sync

If you request a magic link or enable optional sync, we process the email address and account records needed to authenticate you and synchronize the records you choose. Sync requests can be delayed or unavailable; local changes remain usable and are not discarded because the network is down.

What we do not do

• We do not sell task content or email addresses.
• We do not use microphone, camera, location, motion, or other passive sensing to infer interruptions.
• We do not connect a calendar at launch.
• We do not claim that Nudges Work diagnoses, treats, or prevents a health condition.

Notifications and third parties

Browser notifications are controlled by your device and permission settings. They are best effort, limited by the product's reminder rules, and are not guaranteed in the background. The public site loads no synchronous third-party analytics, advertising, font, or tracking scripts.

Your choices

You can continue locally, decline notifications, sign out, export available account data, or request account deletion through the product's account settings. We will explain any processing that cannot be completed immediately. We retain only the account and sync records needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations; exact retention windows will be published before production billing and exports are enabled.

For a privacy question or deletion request, contact the service owner through the support address shown in the app. Do not include task content in a support request unless it is necessary to solve the issue.
